If yours is a civil matter, you can file an Interim Application under Section 151 of The Civil Procedure Code.      Section 151 deals with inherent powers of Civil Courts.

Unlike Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code is not explicit.        Section 482 of The Criminal Procedure Code deals with inherent powers of the High Court.      However, criminal subordinate courts have enough discretion to invoke Sec 482 to some extent.

If yours is a criminal matter, you can file a Criminal Miscellaneous Petition under Section 482 of The Criminal Procedure Code.
