Assault on advocate

Assault on an Advocate while performing a judicial duty and assaulting an opponent advocate. Would it amount to contempt of court? Are there any case laws regarding this?

If the assault is during court proceedings and in the court itself, it may amount to contempt of court since an advocate is supposed to be a court officer.
