In a home loan EMI issue, District Forum has given decision in my favor but the banker has appealed to State Commission. The Banker so far has adopted delaying tactics in the legal process as the burden of interest payment lies with me. Assuming they drag this next to DRT/high court/supreme court, and if the liability in the home loan account swells beyond the market value of the property meanwhile, will the banker be entitled to attach my other properties or would it be confined to the home loan property alone. Can I be imprisoned, just in case I am no more interested in the said property ?
