Hi guys ,
i have a small personal loan from Axis bank for 140000 rs . which i have been paying Emi from over a year now ..only recently in the past 3 months i have missed the payments .
i have given them 1 payment already and 2 are pending .. now i have missed this month payment as well
the EMI is 4260 now i was under the impression that the bank had already deducted the amount for this month as well .but the recovery agents said they have blocked only 3800 rs ,and i need to add 500 more for this month.i told him fine i will do it but since i am a salaried person and this is the end of the month i dont have the money now .but will arrange it within a week and make the payment . but he will not listen and was asking me to pay in 2 days . i told him i will try my best as i have a salaried ac with Axis bank for 5 years now and i never had any problems with them . i told him to understand my problem .but he wouldnt listen .the call went on for 3 hours . i told him i am not denying u payment but give me some time but he wont listen .then i got angry and i said i wont pay him at all .
then he asked his agent to sit in my house untill i made the payment . ispoke to him again and asked him what was he trying to do .he said the recovery agent will sit in my house untill the payment is made .
the agent who came to my house was not at Fault so i asked him nicely to go outside and he went and stood outside .the agent said he is been ordered to stand at my door untill i made the payment .
now this is really Frustrating .
also in the phone conversation we had earlier . i asked the person who was talkingt to me .to give me a 3 months levy , cuz i have some issues i need to take care of .and i will start making payments again . i also told him i was willing to write a letter to the bank regarding this ...since this is the only bank i deal with from past 5 years and it is my salaried acc .and m not planning to leave my job cuz i just got promoted .but i am in probation for 3 months and only after that i will be able to make all the payments .
but at this the person (rajesh ) refused and started saying no u have agreement u have to pay there is nothing i can do .i will have to pay hook or crook. i told him can i speak to some one in the bank ,he says they will all say the same thing ..he said u will have to make payments
so i am really lost here .
look i dont want to default on my payments .but cant i get a few months off so that i can take care of some really urgent personal issues i am dealing with right now .
really would like you inputs on this ..
also please tell me this guy was threatning to send the agent to my house everyday and he said he will stand there untill he gets the money , PLz help
