my wife has a locker account in the Bank of baroda. she wants to add me as a joint holder of the locker account.
the bank is insisting that I open a saving account in their bank to add me as a joint locker accounts holder. otherwise, it's not possible to add me in the locker account as a joint holder.
please confirm if it's true

Suppose you are an existing locker licensee and would like to add another person as a joint licensee. In that case, that person needs to be an existing customer of the bank (with a savings account, current account, or fixed deposit) and must submit their full KYC documents along with one recent photograph.
