Become farmer in gujarat

Hi,

Farmer with pattadar passbook in telangana state can buy agriculture land in Gujarat? will he get farmer status in Gujarat?

Once a farmer, always a farmer. But check up with the local rules about becoming a farmer in Gujarat.
