Dear Legal Stalwarts,
Certain things in law field look so lawless that i feel that i need to find the answer.
I am sure you will agree that this is an anomaly that has to be set right.
Turf Clubs (Horse racing organisations) are thriving with 200 days of racing with select clientele (few making money and most addicts losing).
In a case brought against horse race SC declared that Horse racing is a sport.
Agreed. Horse racing is sport - but betting on horse race is not.
If this is permitted, what is the harm in cricket betting.
Is not this vioaltion of Article of Equality and Injustice?
Unlike lotteries, horse racing is not permitted by any law.
Even the permission for lottery is impermissible, if we consider to avoid gambling, and tales of many who are addicted to winning a lottery and losing their daily bread.
Looking for +ve active participation
regards
VLV
