My wife filled a false dowry case against me n my family with regular false allegations.

Before filling divorce petition by me, my wife and In-law asking for  10 Lakhs. But when she got the divorce petition. she completely change and said i want to 25 Lakhs and separate one flat house.  I file  divorce petition  because my lawyer misguide me. Now the situation will become hard and she did not listen any  thing and does not  reduce the amount. So now i want divorce but i want teach her a lesson legally.

teaching lessons or hearing lessons legally is very costly. Moreover unnecessary wasting of time of human lives.

Mr. MayanDk,

Now you have already filed  Divorce petition but following is relevant to understand:

1.  Have you written amount of Rs.10 lakh in petition, and both have signed, if so now she cannot back out and ask for Rs. 25 L.

2.  Have you made Police Complaint that they are harassing and making false complaint of dowry & harassing parents ?   Your case can be defended.

3.  You want to pay  the amount and  provide her shelter, you may still negotiate  make court settlement.

4.  Have u got any issue(child),  if no, you need not provide so.

5.  You could have filed petition for restitution of conjugal rights.  But it seems you want  divorce but also to teach her lesson, which is not practical but not impossible.

You may further write or contact if you so desire.
