Apply at e-seva or Meeseva counters for birth certificate. The correction of date of birth on the basis of birth certificate only.

FOR APPLYING AT E-SEVA / Me-seva    Registration details  seems necessary 

Here it is not known whether the birth was properly registered u/s 8   of the  Birth & Death Reg Act  1969  or name  was furnished u/s 14  of the Act    

Government order Ms No 31   remedies  the default u/s 14      . However   default u/s 8  if any    can be  remedied by going through the prescribed procedures     -   Application - affidavit - Enquiry  etc  ( with RDO   or   Magistrate  )
