Bounce cheque with no promissionaty note

hello

my father given 14 lakhs to a guy and get blank cheque without a promissionary note. now check is bounced. give some suggestion to get my money back from that guy.

With out wasting time discuss with local Advocate and file Sec 138 case and other things your Advocate would take care.

when cheque is bounced, there is mandatory period to give notice, approach local advocate

If time is passed u have to file civil suit to recover money by paying court fees.

how much the court fees for case with check / criminal case fee in Tamilnadu courts for this and how long it ll take to get solved?

I have asked few lawyers about the case and they quote large sum for the court fee in lakhs.. court fee ll be that much?
