CAN AN INSTITUTE INCREASE FEE MIDWAY

IN MY DNB TRAINING GUIDELINES ITS GIVEN THAT THE INSTITUTE CAN TAKE MAX. UPTO 1,25,000/-AND INSTITUTIONS CAN TAKE LESS THAN THAT ALSO IF THEY WANT BUT WE HAD A LETTER OF ENGAGEMENT IN WHICH THEY ASKED US TO PAY 40000/- PER YEAR. NOW MIDWAY THEY ARE ASKING US TO PAY 1,25,000/- .
CAN THEY OVERRIDE THAT PREVIOUS LETTER OF ENGAGEMENT AND ASK US TO PAY THE FULL FEE?
DO WE HAVE NY GROUND TO CHALLENGE IT IN COURT IF THEY DONT AGREE TO PREVIOUS SAID FEE?

Do you have contract/agreement paper at the time admission in such way? If so you can seek legal remedy.

Dear querist,

You can very well approach court against the institution as they breach terms of admission. However try to settle the matter my discussion and find out some amicable solution.

Before that issue a registerd  notice under CP Act and the remedy under CP Act costs you less than Rs.500/- nominal expenses if you appear as party in person and also you can go collectively with other students as , as a GROUP your success rate is more.

You may first of all go through the prospectus in this regard wherein the details of fee to be paid shall be clearly mentioned.

If there are any violation of their own condition then you may write to the authorities concerned bout it mentioning the clauses

If there is no response or they do not give you a favorable reply then you may resort to legal action by first issuing a legal action and then other legal action in furtherance
