Can my mother can file dv against my divorced ex-wife.

Dear lawyers.

My wife filed DV on me, parents sisters in a remote location in a steep hill area and we all need to travel such long distance spending two days for one appearance(500 kms) that happens hardly for 2 mins in the initial stages.I divorced her by executing talaq recently. Even though i have all evidences to prove my innocence they are trying to drag the case now we are facing difficulty in attending the trials.

Can my mother file DV on her now in my place based on the creulety she recieved from her when she lived with us? Can her father, brother can be included as respondents

Regards

Ibrahim

file a petition under section 2q of DV act 2005,to discharge ur parents, and sisters. No need to file a separate DV case, as it will be waste of time and it will not serve the pupose
