Can remarriage affect custody of children

How you got custody  is it through mutual settlement in court or you won the case?

I got married in 2007 and he was dowry harssing and always insulting me so i filed cas in the court in 2009 and after long fight he came to  mutual divorce and custody of girl child is with me and he has visitation right.and my daughter has no interest to visit him but he got visitation. now i am plan to remarry. The person who never cared me and he  neglated me and my daugter and my daughter knows about him. we both suffered lot from him and he never cared for us and left us. after lots after struggle i put case on him and finally mutual divorce. he also try to kill us in that case what u want me to do....finally know found aperson who will secure my  life and daugter than what u want me to do
