Can sms be used as an evidence ?

sir i have filed a case against UPPCL( electricity department) in consumer forum. before that i  made several complaints at call center no. of the UPPCL and registered my complaint and in response i received the complaint no. acknowledgement as sms from UPPCL call center at my mobile. is this evidence admissible before consumer forum to prove that i have made complaint to the department? after registering complaint i received the calls from the department but not received any satisfactory solution than i approached the consumer forum. now in his answer the department is saying that they do not have any information that any such complaint had been registered by the complainant.?

Dear Puneet,

You can get message print outs from mobile company.  But it depends on your effort.
