Can someone travel outside india while a rash driving case

A Friend has been charged with Rash Driving. No one was injured, but damage to vehicle. Police has filed chargesheet, 5 witnesses named. Friend has pleaded not guilty.

MY question is, my friend now needs to go abroad for a couple of months or maybe around 3 months for her job. What is the legal option she has? PLease note that she is now out on bail, her passport has also not been impounded.  Can she travel without letting her company know?

This is in Pune

or is it better that she apply to be exempted from personal appearances? Can this be done too? She was charged under Section 279

You can travel abroad but you have to take permission from the magistrate and then can file exemption application.
