Can summons be sent to address other than specified in petit

My wife gave my home address as respdent address but she sent summons to different address (my office HOD). Its valid in law? One more question, can we raise any preliminary objections like wrong section of law etc? If yes, when it should be raised, during first hearing through miscellaneous petition or in Written statement? Pls advise, thanks in advance.

My understanding is that once the summons have been sent as long as you are the recipient it is valid.
