cancelation of fir

Hi fir was register under420 &120 there are 4 -5 accused only 1has joined investigation and got bail also frm high court now if investigation officer file cancelation against 1accused in cjm court will that accused will free from charges and will it be like cancelation of fir against that 1accused

Yes if i.o. Find no offence against any accused then he has the power to delete his name from charge sheet.
