Cancellation of sale deed

Refer to recent judgement by ap high court in the case of yanala v malleshvari 2011 wherein it has been amply clarified that any administrative body, in this case the registrar has inherent powers to rescind any order obtained thr fraud. Apply to registrar under s.82&83 of the registration act for proceedings under s.82&83 of the reg act 1908 and pray for cancellation of the fraudulent sale deed alongwith all doc proofs 

dear experts, 

My grandfather made a Registered settlement deed (land) to an educational Trust on 27.03.2002. Now my grandfather wants to revoke this settlement deed. The Trustees (Settlee)  also ready to cancel the deed. 

Can the settlement deed  be cancelled merely register the cancel deed?

or court permission is needed?
