Career guidance

Respected fellow lawyers

I shall soon be receiving my degree of BA LLB and hence would soon start my career.Since the beginning of my stuent life i hav always wanted to be a lawyer.however as i have nobody in my family who is a lawyer, many people have been discouraging me for going towards the field of litigation. They say it would be extremely hard to establish myself and whatever amount of hardwork i put in,i shall never succeed in managing to earn as much as i would want to to sustain a happy life for me and my parents.

I am not in anyway intimidated by hardwork or struggle. The passion of arguing in court and the amount of stature associated with a lawyer's name is so immense that im willing to brave a few years of struggle. However please guide me as to whether all these efforts have any chance of going in vain because i dont have any legal element in my family. Also please guide me so as to what i can do to improve my career graph once i begin. Please fellow learned advocates, i humbly request for the best of your words and hope that i can use yopur advice in taking the best deicision for myself.

Thanks

Augustine Chatterjee

If you are willing to become an advocate, after compeltion you can start your practice under a good lawyer.  In a profession you must be very fair with the clients.  You must have presence of mind and common sense.

Truly agree with Advocate Raju but the institute from where you pass out and how you wish to take the training. You can go to Corporate or persue Masters and choose Teaching or otherwise you join Law Firm.

Best of Luck........Law  is  a prestigious profession.
