Case against witness for not showing up (after acquittal)

In March 2018, I got the contested acquittal on 498a,506 filed against me by my wife and two witnesses (her friends). One of her friends (primary witness) never showed up in court to record statements.

Question: Are there any legal options that I have which I can use to file case (civil / criminal) against that primary witness who never showed up in court...
Looking for legal options only (no general gyaan please)

Thank you very much in advance.

Never dig into the past ad forget about it as a bad dream, when such digging yields no results and avoid those that involve further agony, tension, and expenses.  The witness must come to his own will and it is the Court that has to summon if such witness is important to decide a complicated fact.  The facts that are stated on oath are public records as proceedings and mere statements without standing for cross may not be having such effect of perjury.

Was the witness summoned by the prosecution? If not, you could have summoned him/her as your witness.
