caste

sir I am sc , I want to convert into reddy , I know caste is by birth , no one can change it , only the religion was possible to change , if a person convert into further religion, he would lose his all related benifits from that religion , if he wants again to change his caste , he has to wait for six months , after this he will able to his religion then he can able to choose his caste , is this possible sir
