If appeal has been filed then there is no need of filing Caveat. Otherwise also it will not have any legal implication on the merits of the case. If you are observing/watching the case then better appear on the first date itself.

As such, no limitation applies in filing Caveat. Since appeal has already been filed so no purpose would be served in filing caveat.

No use to file caveat. You can appear before appellat court directly without notice.
