CAW CELL STATEMENT OF WIFE

Dear Experts my wife had suddenly given statement in caw cell that please do the fir I am not interested in mediation etc and from the next dates she is not coming in women cell. So what are the chances of fir. Inspector told me we have to follow the process if process is not completed we will not do fir. regards 498a frauds

Dear Querist

The CAW Cell/women Cell have no power to registered the case/FIR, the women cell/CAW Cell can only send the report to SSP/DCP for further action and the SSP/DCP have power to direct the SHO of concerned police station to registered a FIR.

Are they registered FIR for each and every complaint submitted to CAW CELL.

No , they register only those complaints into fir whom they founds on their investigation that some crime had take place or may be happened in future .
