The summons were sent to my office address abroad but someone else signed for them and I didn't get them. The judge ordered for ex-parte evidence.
Can I challenge on the basis of improper service after final ex-parte divorce decree has been awarded to my wife?

Certainly you can. This is the reason it is called Ex-Parte'. For any undisputed and natural reason, when your summons were served to some other person, you can challenge it in a higher court and take a stay on such decree.
