I hold an agriculture land which is in joint name with my father in government records. My father and mother are both alive. I have one brother. I was reading responses to another forum topic regarding co-ownership. I would like to know whether I will get rights of co-ownership under Hindu Succession Act? Will co-ownership act allow me to get the land mutated in government records to my name after my father passes away.
