Hi,  I am working for a engineering firm for last 3 years, The company has in its policy of signing a service bond for deputaion of employees abroad.

I was sent to dubai for serivice jobs to support our branch indubai. However the company did not ask me for a bond then now after 40 days stay I came to India and almost after one montd after my return the company is asking me to sign a bond of 2 years. If I dont sign the company may ask me to leave the company or terminate me.

I was not being sent for any training I have gone to perform service jobs on behalf of our branc in dubai. So can the company foce me to sign the bond on background of the company policies. and can they terminate me for not sigining the bond.

I think that the company should ahve asked me before the deputation asking me for a bond now I thing is totally illegal Please help

Company can not force you to sign the bond legally.

If they want to do so they have to produce proof showing that they have incurred expenses on your training.

So don't worry about termination on the ground of not signing the bond.
