I live in a multi story building in Kota. This building has 48 bflats and all the flats have been given Domestic LT connections by JVVNL ie Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.
Recently the transformer installed in the building developed fault and JVVNL refused to attend to it.Their contention is that the builder had installed the Transformer, so it is responsibility of the residens' society to get it repaired. Thus more than Rs 15000 was spent by society to get the transformer repaired.
Is it legal on their part to refuse to service the transformer when the consumers are paying same tariff which is applicable to all other domestic power consumers in the city.
