A couple has three sons. Father's name entered in the birth certificates: AHAMED THAJUDEEN. His correct name as per his Malaysian passport is: TAJUDEN BIN SYED ABD KADIR.
When applied for correction, Nagapattinam Muncipality corrected the first son's certificate. It refused correction for the other two.
Can a writ lie in this case?

Thanks for your reply. Reason stated: The officer is not satisfied with the plea. Hence refusal.
All the documents are genuine. The name stands as per Malaysian customs, as the father is a Malaysian citizen. While registering, they had given the name by which father is called, say the pet name. Both names resemble except for the spelling. THAJUDEEN in Indian style is called TAJUDEN in Malay style. The addition Bin Syed Abd Kadir is the name of his father (grand father of the boys).
Details from hospital records, school records and Family card given.
I wonder how they changed one child's register entries before 4 years and why they refuse now.
