Please give your opinions(no offence meant)

Good that India won the World Cup.Many congrats to them.

But how does it affect the personal life of any Indian, that that he is dancing with so much joy?

If,for example, your neighbour wins a lottery of 1 crore and throws a lavish party at his house to celebrate, where you are NOT INVITED,will you stand outside his house to clap and dance joyfully, like a fool, even if your life has not changed after his victory?

This joy will be over in a week or so,and then we will start thinking about our daily struggles as Indians.

Who's benefitting monetarily when Indian wins in World Cup?

Is it the common man or the cricketers and their families?

What is India's standing in the world, when it comes to effective judicial systems, law and order, transportation, hygenic water supply, honesty in govt.,and other areas?

Have Indians planned to become No.1 in cricket only?

Or do they have any plans to progress in other areas also?

Do Indians want to only live for cricket, dance for cricket and die for cricket?

You are right.  But cricket is admiring by all.  It is their will and wish.  No body thinks what you have urged, but cricket is attracted and attracting everybody.

We,as a nation are obsessed with cricket. We eat cricket, sleep cricket and drink cricket. Such nawabi interests suit those nations more, where there is enough prosperity and wealth.

Here we have failed in all fronts. So when we win a world cup,or organise CWG,or win an Oscar,we feel we have reached the sky.And start hallucinating, that we are a superpower.

But soon,we dash to the ground, after the above hallucinations subside, and come back to where we stand

Good points you have raised.

All cricketers are selfish. They only play for India but earn & feed for their family.

If these so called Indian cricketers want to play for the pride of India, then why don't they play without taking any money.

India mein cricket paisa kamane ka ek dhanda ban gaya hai.

BCCI is gang ka headquarter hai. IPL aur 20-20 jaise naye naye tarkib laake sab paisa kamane mein lage hain.

There is no difference between Sachin & farmer.

Sachin works to feed his family and farmer also works to feed his family.

If Sachin wants to rise above the level of farmer then he should donate 50% of his money to poor.

But if you tell these things in public, toh log tumhe Bharat virodhi kahenge aur phir yehi log office jakar table ke niche hajaro laakhon ka goosh lenge.

Thanks Meenal I am also with You. The astonishing fact is that our national leaders who can't visit the slums have time to watch these.

How can we blame leaders or cricketers?

We only are to blame.

If you go to a public place and say such things, like I said, all the cricket fans will abuse you. They will not like to hear anything against their fav. Sachin bhaiya.Everyone in India is mad and emotional about cricket.Because we have no other sources of time pass.

So,when the janta likes temporary entertainments, like cricket, how can we criticise cricketers?

@Meenal Bahadur

100% agree with you, wining fro indian is a good things.

Indian cricketers have done their job very well and we have a proud but what i dont like is the money factor.

They are earning in crorers ,each match they get whopping amount,

this is totally against the equal distribution of income principle.our constitution make a provision about equal opportutnity, equal distribution of income  but all this things look baseless as we see the indian cricketer base price in ipl or indian cricket.,for example gautam gambhir base price in ipl 2011  is 11 crore.

Extreme inequality especially in poor countries means that the majority of the population lives in poverty and can not care for and educate their children so they have a unproductive work force. It also leads to inefficient government policies because the rich have too much influence and the government acts to protect their wealth instead of promoting growth.

If india win a corruption free country ( atleast 2 or 3rd number in corruption  ratio all over the world survey)

Or indian judiciary system become more dynamic and strong to give justice to all ,and the world give a good  example of indian judiciary than we feel very proud.

We should not blame cricketers.  We have to blame our politicians, who has contributed much to damage our country.

Winning is fine, but talking and showing too much about is bad.

It has overshadowed the other games.

And this has shifted the people's attn from corruption, so congress is happy. By the who had paid the salary of the day when our PM and President were watching cricket. Also, why and with whom permission govts are rewarding them from taxpayers money, which is meant for erdication of poverty, starvation and other welfare programmes.

The other bad thing which I personnaly do not like is the way we take match between India and Pakistan. Except match it shud not mean anything else and we must enjoy the play.

It shud not be status issue. We shud not abuse pakistan and their people in any manner.

Saina Nehwal (born March 17, 1990) is an Indian Khel Ratna winning badminton player currently ranked number 3 in the world byBadminton World Federation.[4] Saina is the first Indian woman to reach the singles quarterfinals at the Olympics and the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships. Saina Nehwal made history on June 21, 2009, becoming the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open with a stunning victory over higher-ranked Chinese Wang Lin in Jakarta. (The Super Series tournament is roughly equivalent to a Grand Slam in tennis).

Saina won her second career Super Series title by winning the Singapore Open title on June 20, 2010. She completed a hat-trick in the same year by winning the Indonesian Open on June 27, 2010. This win resulted in her rise to 3rd ranking and subsequently to No. 2. Later in the same year she also won Hong Kong Super Series on December 12, 2010.

Previously coached by S. M. Arif, a Dronacharya Award winner, Saina is the reigning Indian national junior champion and is currently coached by Indonesian badminton legend Atik Jauhari since August 2008,[5] with the former All England champion and national coachPullela Gopichand being her mentor.

When "Kyuki Saaas bhi Kabhi Bahu thi" was a hit, there was a news once that a saas killed her bahu(or bahu killed her saas;can't remember)because the saas taunted her bahu why she cannot be like Tulsi. This argument took place after watching the serial.

There was another news that a husband killed his wife because both had an argument after the serial, over how Tulsi should have responded in a particular situation.
