If a person resigned from a job with immediate effects but co policy is 1 mth notice period & team leader aproves resignation orally on phone does that mean that employee will be getting pf a/c no.

For getting pf account number you are supposed to file form No.9 to the epf commissioner. If not you will not get epf account number.

The concerned HR employee of the company or the authority at the time of induction of employee provides forms e.g. for PF, Gratuity, group insurance etc and the forms are submitted by the company to concerned offices.
PF number is usually supplied to member/employee by the company eiother by a written communication, or in salary slip. If the Pf number is not supplied by the company employee can send email or letter and get it.
If company does not reply or does not supply the Pf number employee can complain to the o/o PF commissioner.
On line complaint can also be filed at www.epfindia.gov.in

If you have a friend working in the HR dept of your company,just ask him what's your epf a/c #.
