498A is legal terriorsm.  After 17 years filed case is not at all maintanable in my view.

Once filed you have to face the court case no escape.

You are right.as their case is weak, the 498A gang is just using intimatiding tactics to siphon out money.I wish i teach them a lesson in the court.

be smart... record their discussions and keep for evidence... extortion is a punishable offence...

Advocates should be choosen carefully and not randomly.

You can seek references but final decision and responsibility should rest with you.
