What is the difference between Gazette and G.O.(Govt.Order).

dear member govt.orders are published in gazette as notification for complience by all dept concerned.

A Gazette means a public document. All govt. orders need not be a public document. It will be communicated to the concerned parties only. A public document which should be brought to the notice of all general public should be notified. For this purpose every governments release a Journal namely official gazette.
