Educational qualification & fraud

Dear ld. lawyers,

Need your advice on the following:

The girl saw the boy's profile on a matrimony website. The girl is a MCA degree holder.
The boy had mentioned that he was an MBA, whereas he was a graduate and did not complete MBA. However had applied for MBA then a year before and was about to write the exams.

The proposal got through. The boy did not inform the girl that he was yet to complete his MBA. After engagement, he told her that he did not complete his MBA and therefore suggested that at the time of printing the marriage inivation he did not want to put the degree after his name. The girl insisted that she wanted him to put MBA degree next to his name.

After marriage, the boy got busy with office projects and could not write exams. Meanwhile, there were a lot of misunderstandings between them and quarrels began between them and slowly between the two families. When the boy could not bear anymore, he decided to end the marriage.

Now, the girl is threatening the boy to sue him on the account of fraud saying that she had agreed to the marriage only because he was an MBA.

Apart from this, whatever the boy had said about his job, position, salary are true.

Can you please let me know what would be the implications?

Even if the boy finishes MBA within two year from now, even then will this amount to fraud and will be punishable under law if the girl knocks the doors of the court?

Regards

Nandha

so, the wife knew facts

if the wife desires, she has even more leathal weapons than the said fraud

better, settle the matter amicably.

MCD will be the best option.

well she does not need a caring husband . all she needs is an MBA.

well better go for MCD and make sure, next time marry a girl who wants a caring husband and not a degree.

Married coz of his MBA wht if MBA holder doesn't get a job ? This is not the first time I have noticed this everyone wishes to eat apple perhaps everyone doesn't get one. Is there any university or college promising a job? Even though they do it would be internship or temp job. If husband is not interested in pursuing further studies he can't be forced it's better to go for MCD

Thank you all for your comments.

@ Amit, after reading many threads from this forum i am well aware what these b*tches can do to ruin a man's life. But question is that whether if the boy completes MBA after the marriage,  and still she files case for fraud, will there be merits in the case?

The girl was informed after engagement but before marriage that he is not a MBA,so it is not a fraud.

at the max, girl can mention it as one of the cruelties in her divorce petition.

Rightly said.

However cruelty is a ground of divorce.
