TRULY IF U LOVE THAT GIRL THEN FORGET HER PLEASE THIS WILL BE THE BEST REMEDY AND FIND SOME OTHER GIRL. FILING OF CASE IS JUST WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME OF BOTH OF YOU. YOU SHOULD HAVVE THOUGHT ABOUT THE FUTURE CONSEQUENCES BEFORE INDULGING IN SUCH SEXUAL ACT

@Momin, I agree to your following remarks::

YOU SHOULD HAVVE THOUGHT ABOUT THE FUTURE CONSEQUENCES BEFORE INDULGING IN SUCH SEXUAL ACT

My only request to you is that when a girl seeks such remedy, please remember this above line and reply in same manner. Then see how many feminists would run around your post to cut your throat.

You have a remedy under the law. This case as per prevalent judicial provides for a remedy under S.406IPC & S.417IPC. The girl made promises which she did not fulfilled so now she has to face the law. Same is the situation for a boy when he retracts from his promise of marriage and he has to undergo trial under S.406IPC & S.376IPC. But in our country, a girl cannot rape a boy so S.376IPC does not apply in your case.

What is love ? Was it limited to the extent of mingling of bodies or was it mingling of two minds ? If former  is true then  ur love was one sided and she has every right to get seperated from u. However, if later is true then she shold marry u irrespective of her father's so called threat even if it is true. Law can come in picture if u want justice. But at what cost ? Think rationally.

I am a little confused with the above replies. could you plese explain the relevence of criminal brach of trust and cheating etc in this case. Is a girl is bound to marry a guy she has intercourse with? what are the legal aspects  consesual  s*x b/w an adult girl and boy? do social promises have any thing to do with law?

Be happy that you had a good time for 7 years. Now forget this girl and go in search of the next one. People can ask for divorce after having s*x with wife/husband even only for one year. The difference in your case is that you were not married and hence no divorce was possible.

In our culture still a woman loses more if she had pre-marital s*x than a man in a similar situation. Her father probably still doesn't know that you had actual s*x. Hence he only threatened suicide. If he had come to know that you really  had s*x, he would have already committed suicide.
