Statutory body- legal proceedings

Please see the attachment.

Kolkata Municipal Corporation is a "Statutory body" formed by an Act of West Bengal State Legislature. So, does it has a seperate entity (like that of a Limited Company)? So that suit and other procedings may be started against it seperately?

Please suggest the step to be taken by me in the Consumer Commission.

Dear Rabin

It appears that you have not mentioned the designation of authority which in your case should have been C.E.O.

(Chief Executive Officer).Better course would be to discuss the problem with consumer forum as rectification at this stage may complicate the issue(probably it is appeal as it is in state forum) as you in your original application may have mentioned in the same manner.

If possible you can take the summons 'Dasti' i.e. by hand for service to the corporation and then deliver personally.Keep with you a photostat of the summon so that you can get acknowledgement over the copy.
