yes, the Advocate daffer the cross-examination if the cross-examination has not completed on that day, the court can't object or pressurize that the cross-examination should finished today.

No time limit and the witness can be recalled anytime for re examination .

There is no time limit in law for completion of cross examination. but the court can restrict the counsel from asking irrelevant questions to the witness and thereby reduse or save time.
