Divorce under section 12 & 13

Hi,

   My sister-in-law has filled a divorce uner section 12 & 13.We had one hearing for this on 10th of december.It has been told that we have to submit a WS before 90 days from the day of teh first hearing.I want to know

1.  what is WS

2.  Our lawyer wants to submit the WS on exactly on date the 90 day is completing.Will there be any problem if our lawyer submit teh WS before.He says there is a problem.But not explaing what will be the prob.

WS - is Written Statement, a reply to what your sister in law (petitioner) has stated in her claim. Normally a WS has to be filed within 30 days, which period is extendable upto 90 normally, and if there are sufficient reasons even beyond that. If you are confident on fighting the case on merits - there is no reason to delay it further.
