Hello Lawyers,

I need advise on my case,   I had filed the marriage nullity case against my wife in Feb 2013 in Bangalore family court.  based on mental cruelty, fraud and and not disclose the epilepsy disease before marriage. we were leaving together only for 3 months . Notice went to her house but till now she didn’t come to court. Two time hearing date was given but she did not came to court . my case status is showing "await Notice" .

My questions are

How long court waits for respondent for this kind of case.

alos usually  How long will it take to close the case from court if  I am not agree to stay together

 Thanks  & Regards

If she is not appeared in the court inspite of it service of notice.  There will be an order of ex-parte. You proceed with your case and lead your evidence.

Thank you so much for quick response and advice

I heard that she applied for transfer in high court. I am not interested to transfer my case to Davangere since I cont frequently travel to that location from Bangalore. Could you please advice  how to stop transferring my case.
