Permission for application to other jobs

You can apply for better employment,but you should route the application through your head of office.

While under probtion it is not advisable to apply for greener postures. once the probation is over you may apply for other posts after due permission from your employer or under intimation to your employer.

there is no bar on probationer applying for other job.  Had it been so many IAS officers who worked on other posts would hav missed age limit. You can apply to UPSC just under intimaton andfor otherposts you need to appy through proper channel.

my admin officer is telling me that i cant.  when i asked him that show me order or letter of govt which prevent me form thing. he has no answer for this.
