Hi police is going tomfile the challan but compromise has been done in 498a 406 case in high court but quashing will take place after divorce in october2014 does filing of challan matters now as compromise has been made
What will be the effect to quash if challan will be presented

there is no effect of challan, when the police file challan, after that file an application before court regarding settlement & pending case in HC, the lower court may stop the proceedings till the final decision of HC or file an application before HC u/s 482 of Cr.p.c. for grant stay on proceedings in trial court.
