I am having this situation today. I gifted my property to my mother after getting divorce petition. Now my mom is selling that property. The buyer's lawyer says my mom has to publish in the newspaper that she is selling this property along with address. When property was on my name alone and I gifted to my mother then why she has to put public notice in newspaper. I do not understand what kind of lawyer buyer has appointed.
