Uncontested- dismissed without costs, what it mean?

Uncontested--DISMISSED WITHOUT COSTS 

It means case was proceeded exparty , and petitioner failed to prove his point and his petition stand DISMISSED, court has not imposed any cost on petitioner for filing this petition.

Uncontested means the opposite party is absent through out the case to contest the palintiffs case.. Plaintriff case was heard exparty. And Plaintiff failed to prove his case. Dismissed without costs means Plintiff failed to prove his case to the satisfaction of  the court and hence his case  is dismissed without costs.
