Khatha transfer

Dear Sir, We have a Family containing Father, Mother 3 sons & 3 daughters. We are having property called agricultural Land 6 acres. The land is Ancestral property, Katha has transferred from my grandfather to my father, after my father expired, it has(Katha) transferred to my mother, now my mother also expired, we are 3 brothers & 3 sisters, In my sisters two are married and one sister (last one) also expired. We have not done patrician of the property, now my property is acquired by National Highway authority of India, How to make khata and how to get compensation from National Highway authority of India. Kindly guide me. Thanks. Sathisha.

First u need to mutate your name on khata. 

Ther after you can get the compensation from NHIA.

for katha transfer, what is the procedure, we brothers alone should change the katha or how? guide me.

For khata transfer first you have to obtain the legal heir certificate from sdm /tehshiĺdar office of your area and then start mutation process of your share in your name and after mutation you can file claim against NHAI .
