Buying plot in lucknow, how to do legal verification

Hello All, I am looking some plots in Lucknow and planning to buy one through a property dealer. I have not much idea about what are the documents I need to ask for from the dealer and how to verify them . Though he has provided a khasra and Act 143 related documents , I am looking for some help from a lawyer who can help me on this . I don't know who can I contact to but please let me know if you can possibly help me on this.

Take help from a local lawyer show him the land documents he will do the best , if you himself wants to verify then ask the registry copy of that plot , recent khatauni of that plot and khasra , property is in the name of seller , after that visit your sub registrar office and confirm that the khasra no. Of your plot is clear title or it is a disputed land , the sro had maintained a register mentioned all khasra no.of disputed land which disputes are with state government.
