Is there any provisions, in case where an an old lady cant attend the dates in court as living alone

an old lady age 70 is unable to attend the dates in her matter in city civil court, she is living alone ....she can't go on every date as the court is far from her house and also disable with one eye sight and healthwise also sick....plz suggest option and any privison where she thru his advocate will do

she has to get a lawyer who can attend court dates of case on her behalf. she must sign vakalatnama in favour of her lawyer.

She was attending dates before but now she is getting sick age factor n advocate saying party has to b present.....wat to do....can she hive in writing to court tat she can't b present n her advocate will attend the dates? Is their any othet way??

she must change her lawyer as he is misguiding her.

she can file application under senior citizens act to get exemption from attending her case court dates, in concerned court.

In civil case proceedings the parties to litigation need not attend the court proceedings in person but through their advocate by giving vakaltnamma . Litigants can even give power of attorney to any other person to do necessary acts in furtherance of their case that they would be doing if were present in person.
