Is partition deed executed in telengana valid for Karnataka

Hi, my father passed away a few years back leaving behind 2 houses and my mother also recently passed away. No wills have surfaced. If the remaining children execute a property partition deed for all the property in telengana (where 1 house is located), would the same deed be valid for the property in Karnataka also or would a separate deed need to be filed in Karnataka? Thanks

The porpertu situated in Karnataka State shall be registered at Karnataka State only.  The property in Telangana shall be registered in Telangana.

Is this for partition deed where we formally partition the property(s) in all the childrens names too? Also for legal heir certificate also, do we need to file separately in Karnataka and telengana?

The partition deeds no registration in a family. A death certificate, a legal heir certificate from place of death and copy of partition deed are enough for getting property mutated.  After getting the property mutated, you can register the property within family as per jurisdiction.  Partition can also be oral.

Partition deed is compulsory registerable document as per amendment issued in 1986 in combined A.P. w.e.f.01-07-1986.  The property is situated in two States, it shall be registered in two states 1.for property in Telangana in Telangana state, 2.for property in Karnataka in Karnataa State.
