The court fee depends on the asset value and varies from state to state. In case of a joint possession suit in the court, if you do not take possession of your share of the property, the court will then decide the fee on the amount of compensation sought by you in place of the property share. If the court is unable to estimate the value of the share of the property, it will charge a fixed court fee.
