What does Affidavit of Examination-in-chief mean? When does the judge order this to be filed by the Plaintiffs? What happens after it is filed? Is admission and denial of documents the next step?

After issues are finalised the trial starts with filing of affidavit of examination in chief usually by the plaintiff and every witness either on plaintiff's side or defendant's side state through this chief affidavit what they have to say in relation to the case as witnesses - And after filing of chief affidavits the cross examination of witness will take place. The admission of documents will usually take place along with the filing of the chief affidavit.
