Only can divorce allow you not to mention the name of one's wife from any future documents.

Deleting the name of one's wife from existing documents is, if you ask me, not possible though divorce is obtained later.

Family pension is defined as a regular monthly amount which an employer will pay to a person who belongs to the family of the employee in the event of the death of the employee.

 

The wife's name can be deleted from the service records on the basis of the divorce decree from a court of law. 

She will not be entitled for family pension if she has been divorced as per law before the death of the pensioner.
