Adultery cannot and should not be a crime. It can be a ground for a civil offence, a ground for divorce,a five judge bench led by former Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said in writ petition (criminal) no.194 of 2017 filed by indian origin Italian Businessman Mr.Joseph Shine.
